Andrew Mount's Racing Tips 29.12.2023

Andrew heads to Doncaster and Leopardstown for two early recommended bets/trades on Friday, December 29th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
DONCASTER 11.55
BUTLER’S BRIEF was only fifth at Bangor last time but got into battle for the early lead with the progressive Tanganyika and his 13.5-length defeat was a respectable effort in the circumstances. Nick Scholfield, on board for the eight-year-old’s last six wins, was missing at Bangor but returns to the saddle today. The forecast quicker ground won’t be an issue and he could prove hard to pass. Buy in the Sporting Index 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back BUTLER’s BRIEF in Doncaster 1.55
LEOPARDSTOWN 12.00
NEPHIN BEG finished well held in his first two start this term but showed plenty more when a 16-1 third at Tramore last time, doing well to finish within five lengths of the winner as he raced up with the pace on the inside rail where the ground was clearly slower. The winner and runner-up both challenged late/wide and it’s interesting note that his sole success came in December last year on his fourth start of the campaign. Buy in the Sporting Index 50-30-20-10 market or back him each-way in the fixed odds betting.
Recommendation: Back NEPHIN BEG in Leopardstown 12.00
Please note that the picks recommended in this blog post are based on past performance and should not be considered a guarantee for future winning outcomes, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
