COME ON TEDDY has lost all seven starts since scoring at Uttoxeter back in December 2021, failing to take advantage of his sliding handicap mark in four runs over hurdles this term. The ten-year-old also seems ideally served by left-handed tracks, so reverting to fences at right-handed Exeter could pose problems in this veterans’ handicap chase. He faces tough rivals in the shape of NUMITOR, STORMY FLIGHT and RAFFLE TICKET and can be solid in the Sporting Index 50-25-10 market.

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.00

MUNIFICENT’s three all-weather wins have come over the minimum trip at Wolverhampton when drawn in stall 6 or lower and he encounters his ideal conditions this evening (his full record under these conditions reads 15114) . Chelsea Banham’s six-year-old beat only a couple home at Chelmsford on his latest assignment but he’s now 0-6 at that venue and will be much happier back at Dunstall Park. He’s now lost seven on the spin but is 5lb lower than when successful here in September and the likely strong gallop will suit this sometime-keen sort. Buy in the Sporting Index 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
