He came from off the pace that day – not usually the ideal tactic on the chase course here at Sandown – but he often made the running before that win, including when scoring on heavy ground at Exeter in March, and I’m hoping/expecting that the excellent Sean Bowen, on board for the first time, will have him more prominent this time.
